STEFF, Darrell "Dee" Ross, passed away Saturday, April 17, 2021 at his home, age 79.  Darrell was born October 11, 1941 in Bay City to the late Raymond and Laura (Swanson) Steff.  He married the love of his life, Mary Ellen Trudell on September 21, 1963.  Mary survives him.  Darrell was a lifelong member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Bay City, past President of the Pony and Colt Leagues and a coach for Bangor Township Rec.  He was an usher at church as well as a youth director.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, taking trips to Mackinaw, bowling, the Detroit Tigers, Lions, Redwings, Michigan State University and a professional baker.  Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 56 years, Mary, children:  Susan (James) Cameron, Sherry Farmer, Shelly LaCombe, Bob Steff and Sandy (Steven) Shelagowski; 18 grandchildren, one brother Raymond Steff and in-laws: Diane Steff, Robert (Sharon) Trudell and Joanne Marquez and dear friend Dee Morelli-Farris.  Darrell was predeceased by three sons-in-law:  William Farmer, Jonathon LaCombe Sr. and Christopher Henry, one brother Clifford "Kip" Steff, one sister Geraldine (Bob) Ayers, and a sister-in-law Barbara Steff.  Cremation has taken place.  A Graveside Committal Service took place May 6, 2021 at Floral Gardens Cemetery
