SN Robert Arthur Elliot enlisted in the U.S. Navy, and his enlistment included time served in the Republic of Vietnam.  Robert was born February 1, 1945 to the late Arthur and Ellen Elliot.  He was a deputy for the Bay County Sheriff's Department and Central dispatch and retired in March of 2000.  He passed away on May 30, 2016 and was laid to rest at the Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly, MI 48442.
