SGT Albert R. Nietzke enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, and his enlistment included time served in the Republic of Vietnam.  Albert was born November 26, 1943, in Sebewaing, MI to the late Fred and Martha Nietzke.  Al was married for 44 years to the former Joyce Ann Nitschke, who survives him.  He was employed by Consumers Energy.  Al was a member of the St. Bartholomew Lutheran Church.  His passions included baseball, especially following the Tigers.  He passed away February 26, 2013, age 69, and was laid to rest at Heavenly Rest Cemetery in Kawkawlin, MI 48631.
