MCCULLEN, Dennis Michael, passed away on August 17, 2026, age 81 years.  Dennis was born to parents, Laurence McCullen and Doris (Hunt) McCullen on March 14, 1945, Bay City, MI.
Dennis spent his entire career with Michigan Bell / AT&T, working as a lineman in the telephone and communications industry.  He dedicated more than 30 years to his work before retiring.  Hardworking by nature, Dennis was someone who liked to keep moving and always found something to keep himself busy.  He was a quiet and genuinely kind man with a great sense of humor.  He enjoyed following the Detroit Tigers, golfing, and playing pool with his friends, but family was always at the center of his life.  He especially loved being a grandfather and treasured the time he spent with his grandchildren.  Dennis shared his life with Carol, his wife of 56 years.  Their life together meant everything to him.  He was a devoted husband and caregiver.  He is survived by his wife, Carol (Bayles) McCullen; their children, Michael (Angela) McCullen, and Lauren (Kevin Felske) McCullen; grandchildren, Brendon McCullen and Kierah McCullen, along with his eldest daughter Erin (Robyn Warner) Braley.  He was also survived by his siblings, David Klippert and Judy Weller as well as many loving nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and extended family members.  In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his sister, Kay Stojack, and sister-in-law, Marilyn Klippert.  Cremation has taken place.  A celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
