Harley E. Kernstock passed away on December 1, 2020, age 75. Harley was born to Elmer and Emma Kernstock on November 18, 1945. On May 1, 1970 he married Betty Jo Watson. Their marriage was blessed with a son, Nathan. Harley worked at Prestolite until it closed and then at Begick's Nursery Garden Center doing small engine repair until he retired. He also was a lifelong farmer. He is survived by his sisters, Marilyn Datte and Dolores (Darrel) Town, brother-in-law Ed Watson, sisters-in-law Nancy Shimek and Janet Kilgore, as well as many nieces and nephews. Harley was preceded in death by his wife Betty Jo and son Nathan, his parents Elmer and Emma Kernstock, his in-laws Warren and Ruth Watson, his nephew Kurt Watson and one special brother-in-law Theodore Datte III. A private graveside committal service was held on December 4, 2020 at Home Cemetery (Monitor Twp.) officiated by Pastor Roger Bauer. Memorial contributions were considered to Trinity Lutheran Church (Monitor), in loving memory of Harley.
