JANKENS, Gary Palmer, passed away on July 12, 2020, age 75 years.  He was born June 11, 1945 to Frederick and Margery Jankens.  Gary resided in Murphy, NC and was a law enforcement officer for 31 years.  He was preceded in death by his parents.  He is survived by his wife Linda, daughter Kelli and sons Marc (Laurie), Jim (Nikki); brothers Gordy (Anne) and Brian; sisters Kay (Bob) Rose, Nancy (Dave) Stuhler and Barbara (Dave) Schiell.
