SCOTT, Cheryl Ann, Gibelyou, passed away May 3, 2020, age 74 years. She was the daughter of the late Evelyn Theaker and Robert Gibelyou. She was the wife of the late Tom Scott, Loved ones that will miss Cheryl until they meet again include her daughters, Suzie Gunn (Steve) and Jamie Adams; her sister and best friend Lynn Stevens, (Gary), her brothers Bob Gibelyou (Carol), Pete Gibelyou, Don Beaudin (Gaby), Leon Beaudin; her youngest sister Robin Umphrey (Dave); her grandchildren Brandy, Andrew, Lauren, Brianna and Michael. She also has many cousins, nieces and nephews that she adored. She was blessed with many wonderful friends and neighbors. She spent most of her time with Duane, Brenda, Pauline and Mike. She was born on May 12, 1945 in Bay City, MI. She married her soulmate and the love of her life, Tom Scott, on May 18, 1963. They later completed their family by adopting two daughters from Seoul, Korea and gave them the best life possible. Cheryl had an infectious smile and laugh and a zest for life. Over the course of life, Cheryl was a meter maid, tried her hand at racing cars, was a very active volunteer with schools and the Girl Scouts, coached softball and made herself available for anyone in need. She enjoyed playing cards, tending to her flowers and going to the casino with her sister Lynn. Her grandchildren were extremely important to her. They filled her life and heart with joy. Cremation has taken place and burial of her cremains will take place in Floral Gardens Cemetery, Bay City. A celebration of Cheryl's life will take place at a later date.
