Lowell A. Friebe, Kawkawlin, MI,  passed away October 23, 2018 at McLaren Bay Region, age 73 years.  He was the son of the late Henry and Florence (Pross) Friebe.  He was born on April 24, 1945 in Kawkawlin, MI.  He married the former Joyce Schluckbier on July 10, 1965.  She passed away on August 1, 2011.  Lowell was a member of St. Bartholomew Ev. Lutheran Church.  He worked for 35 years for General Motors and retired in 2000.  In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his family, hunting and gardening.  Surviving are daughters, Lisa and Tom Ross and Brenda and Tim Rivet, son David Friebe; grandchildren, Brianna (fiance Cameron Pratt) and Tyler Rivet, Tommy, Nicholas and Abigail Ross; sisters, Era (Lloyd) Eichman and Ruth Kridler; sister-in-law, Karen Friebe and many nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Lloyd Friebe and brother-in-law, Steve Kridler.  His funeral took place October 26, 2018 at St. Bartholomew Ev. Lutheran Church with Pastor Larry Seafert officiating.  Interment was in Heavenly Rest Cemetery, Kawkawlin, MI.
