BLANKENSHIP, Joyce K. (Caldwell), passed away July 2, 2019, age 73 years.  Joyce was born to the late Robert and Elizabeth (Hoppes) Caldwell on October 31, 1945, Bay City, MI.  She was a 1963 graduate of T.L. Handy High School.  On April 3, 1964, Joyce was united in marriage to David Blankenship, who preceded her in death on June 27, 2005.  Joyce was a member of the Salvation Army, attended Riverwalk Baptist Church and was past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star.  Survivors include her children, Susan Horner, Deborah Blankenship, David G. (Linda) Blankenship, Daniel (Sandra) Blankenship, Kathleen Ingersoll (fiance Dave Jankowski) and her honorary daughter, Arabelle Rottman; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, siblings, Dr. Neal (Janet) Caldwell and Robert Caldwell; brother-in-law, Ottman Rau, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.  Funeral service will take place at the Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation, Essexville, MI, on July 5, 2019  A private service took place at Oakridge Cemetery, Bay City, MI.
