PETEE, Kenneth, age 78, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023 at Hurley Medical Center.  A memorial service took place on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at Lamb of God Lutheran Church located at 2051 Maple Avenue, Flint, MI.  A graveside service took place at Bendle Cemetery on October 23, 2023.  He was born on March 2, 1945 in Bay City to the late Arthur and Doris (Ulman) Petee.  Ken was a devoted member of Lamb of God Lutheran Church and served as an elder for several years.  He dedicated 35 years of his career to Buick as a member of UAW Local 599.  Ken was known for being a passionate leader in the Swartz Creek area's 4-H community.  In his free time, Ken enjoyed traveling and had the opportunity to visit all 50 states.  He also had a passion for gardening and photography,  However, his greatest joy came from spending time with his three beloved grandchildren.  Ken is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Bonnie; sons Mark and Carl (Sara); grandchildren Jack Ryan, Joshua, and Susanna; special niece Sandee; siblings Arthur, Thomas, Gail, Margo ahd John; father-in-law Emerson; and sister-in-law Luann.
