Carol Jean Pletzke (Reuther), Bay City, MI, passed away at age 64 years on June 8, 2009, after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.  She was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Francis Reuther, born in 1945.  She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister.  Surviving are her husband, James and three sons: Nick (Kim) Martin, Christopher (Mistie) Pletzke and Kevin (Kelly) Pletzke; three grandchildren: Hayden, Paige and Makenna; three sisters: Barb Paruch, Kathy Meldrum and Betty Schnell; along with several nieces and nephews.  Carol had a Master's Degree in Nursing and ended her career at Bay Medical Center as the diabetic coordinator when her disease took over.  She was a beautiful and magnificent woman and will be sadly missed by all that knew and loved her.  She was cremated and her memorial service was at W.A. Trahan Funeral Chapel on June 12, 2009.
