Carolyn J. O'Farrell Hunt passed away August 16, 2007, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident, age 62 years.  The daughter of the late Lester J. and Margaret D. (Grindler) O'Farrell, she was born April 28, 1945 in Bay City, MI.  Carolyn was a member of First United Church of Christ.  She was an LPN at Mercy Hospital and retired from Bay Medical Center.  Carolyn was a cancer survivor and was very active with the American Cancer Society.  Carolyn is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Dale Meylan of Auburn, MI; grandchildren, Micaela and Hunter; two sisters, Joanne and Roger Phelps of Bay City and Pam O'Farrell of Okemos, MI; and her nieces and nephews, Stacey and Clayton Osborn and their son, Benjamin Ryan Osborn and Casey, Ashley and Katie Phelps.  Besides her parents, Carolyn was also preceded in death by several aunts and uncles.

Funeral services took place August 22, 2007, First United Church of Christ, Rev. Beverly Kelly officiated.  Carolyn is buried in Floral Gardens Cemetery, Bay City, MI.
