Frank P. Janner enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps,. and his enlistment included time served in the Republic of Vietnam.  Frank was born in Petoskey, MI on July 28, 1945.  He retired from General Motors Powertrain in Bay City in 2004.  He enjoyed flying radio controlled airplanes.  He is survived by his wife, the former Karen Hunt, whom he married in Midland, MI in 2001.  Frank passed away February 4, 2006, Sanford, MI at the age of 60 years old, at St. Mary's of Michigan Hospital in Saginaw.  He was laid to rest in Floral Gardens Cemetery, with military rites under the direction of the Bay County Veterans Council.
