Glenn Ted Ford

Glenn T. "Ted" Ford, of Bay City, Michigan passed away Thursday, May 18, 2006 at the Ann Arbor V.A. Medical Center, age 60 years.  The son of the late Glenn H. and Lorena B. (Glick) Ford, Glenn was born June 12, 1945 in Midland, Michigan.  Following graduation from T.L. Handy High School, Glenn enlisted in the U.S. Army which  included two years of duty in the Republic of Vietnam and two years in Germany.  He was employed by Super Foods and Nash-Finch as a merchandiser.  He was also an artist, enjoyed softball, attended craft shows and loved his children and grandchildren.  He is survived by his wife the former Linda L. Confer whom he married January 18, 1969. Surviving are his children:  Tammy (Brian) Walther of Schoolcraft, MI, Todd (Shelly) Ford of Auburn and Trenie Klaus of Bay City; his grandchildren, Austin, Hannah, Nathan, Brenna, Tiffani, Danielle, Heather and Brandee; his sister, Nancy (Ed) Reinig; his mother-in-law, Iraline Yahrmarkt; his sisters-in-law: Earline (Frank) Bryden and Wanda (Elmer) Finkbeiner; his godchild: Scott Reinig; several nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his daughter-in-law, Kathy Ford and his niece, Amy Reinig.   At the request of Mr. Ford cremation took place.  A Memorial Service took place on May 22, 2006 at Bay Valley Christian Church officiated by Rev. Dan Mastrogiatomo.
