SP4 Frederick W. Born, Jr. enlisted in the U.S. Army, and his enlistment included time served in the Republic of Vietnam.  Fred was born October 5, 1945 to the late Frederick and Caroline Born.  He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Bay City.  He passed away on September 18, 2006, at age 60 and was laid to rest at the Floral Gardens Cemetery, 2215 W. Cass Avenue, Bay City, MI 48708.
