Jill (Lykins) Wixson, age 77, passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023, with her family by her side. She was born in Bay City, Michigan on October 26, 1945, to the late Ralph and Georgia (Bush) Lykins. Jill married the late Ken Wixson on June 17, 2000. She enjoyed line dancing, being up north on the water, and just tried to enjoy life to the fullest. Jill belonged to the Eagles of Bay City, K of C of Bay City and the American Legion of Bay City.
Jill is survived by her children, Garret Wieland of Hale, Michigan and Natalie (Joe) Schmalzried of Prescott, Michigan, two grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, a special friend, Ron Curler and his daughter, Kate. She is preceded in death by her husband Ken, and her parents Ralph and Georgia Lykins.
Per Jill's wishes, creamation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be announced at a later date. The family has entrusted the Rivertown Funeral Chapel - Kawkawlin, Michigan.

I am so sad hearing about Jill. I had no idea that she was fighting this beast known as cancer. What a wonderful friend to so many of our classmates. May she RIP free from pain. My sincerest condolences to her family and friends.

My wife Kathie & I have danced with Jill for the past 20 pluss years.
We would meet other line dancers some times weekly ,If there was music
we woud be on the dance floor. We started at the West Town years ago.
Jill enjoyed dancing and having good time . We have many good memories.
